Forty km/h speed zones will be introduced in August in the Woden Town Centre as part of a trial to help improve safety for pedestrians, cyclists and other roads users. The trial will run from August 2011 to January 2012 and operate on a full time basis (24 hours a day, seven days a week). Evaluation of the 40km/h area will occur at the completion of the trial to determine suitability of the boundaries, hours of operation and engineering works.

The Woden Valley Community Council will provide feedback as part of the evaluation process and we welcome your comments during the trial period.
