The WVCC holds public meetings at 7pm on the first Wednesday of each month (except January). Face to face at the Southern Cross Club and on zoom.
While the WVCC supports development, It is a shame that established street trees on the nature strip will be removed to build WOVA and that there will not be enough room to continue the cycle path (from Heyson St) along Launceston St past WOVA. This development is too big and too dense when it impacts on our public amenity!
We should be celebrating 50 years of fun at the Phillip Pool, instead we are commiserating its closure this summer.
