Proposal: COMMUNITY FACILITIES-CANBERRA HOSPITAL. The proposed works include the staged redevelopment of Building 12, currently operating as the Canberra Hospital Emergency Department. Works include the partial demolition of existing Building 12 at ground and first floor level comprising the existing ambulance bay and adjoining private building entrance; construction of an additional 985sqm GFA to extend over existing internal roadway; reconfiguration of ambulance parking bays, drop off area and driveway; removal of one regulated tree to facilitate building expansion; site landscaping and servicing to support the building expansion.
