The Public Housing Renewal Taskforce has made a number of design changes since the proposal was first announced in March 2017.
A revised design concept was prepared on 3 August 2017 during the consultation process with the Mawson Citizens’ Group.
This design includes the following changes since the proposal was first announced:
- Number of dwellings reduced
- Site layout adjusted
- Access limited to be from Mawson Drive
The Taskforce plans to lodge a DA with the ACT Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD) in 2017.
If the DA is approved, construction is likely to start in late 2017.
