Join us for tree planting, music and art at the Mawson Ponds (opposite Marist).
This is a community event to get together and replace the cotoneasters along the fence line and relax by the pond.
We have also established the Friends of the Mawson Ponds to help out in the area and think about how we could develop a community meeting place around the pond.
Access is by the shared path by the pond with the closest parking at the Mawson park n ride.
Hopefully we will get great weather for:
- a sausage sizzle
- planting trees and shrubs
- choirs – WV Youth Choir and the Australian Rugby Choir
- clay workshops, painting and Canberra Succulent Swaps
- nature walks
