The WVCC supports development in Woden however we want it to be done well with a balance between homes, jobs, public spaces and community facilities.
Presentations
- Lovett Tower refurbishment – this development brings residents to the face of the Town Square. We will need to ensure that entertainment is still possible in the Town Square and that wind mitigation measures are delivered to reduce the impact of wind in the area.
- WOVA amendment – we are keen to see if the massive size and scale of this very high density development (800 apartments per hectare) will contribute to the public realm and provide public space and amenity for the residents.
- Canberra Hospital expansion – find out more about the new emergency building
- Canberra Hospital Master Plan – we all want great health outcomes, so we need to compete with other hospitals to attract great staff to the Canberra Hospital. This is a complex issue so please come along and have a view on the planning process.
