Mr Phil Green, ACT Electoral Commissioner, will address the issue of Woden being in two electorates. The WVCC has been concerned for some time that having Woden divided between the Molonglo and Brindabella electorates, has reduced residents’ influence on Assembly members and affected priorities for government funding in Woden.

Mr Chris Young-Wright will discuss the proposed redevelopment of Borrowdale House (which currently contains the Woden Post Office) on the western face of the Woden Town Square. The redevelopment will contain new retail facilities and approximately 200 apartments.
Dr Michael Mulvaney, Red Hill Regenerators, will present their concerns to the meeting, on the impact of the Federal Golf Club’s proposed housing development on the Red Hill Nature Park.
