ACT Greens MLA Caroline Le Couteur will speak on the topic of Solar Energy and Canberra’s Future at the November meeting of the Woden Valley Community Council. Ms Le Couteur’s presentation will include a discussion covering solar orientation of houses, planning for more efficient, lower energy homes, and the proposed draft variations to the Territory Plan.
[teaserbreak]Ms Le Couteur is a member of the ACT Legislative Assembly’s committee, which will be considering the proposed variations.
Nick Tsoulias, convenor of the steering committee for the Curtin Community Bank, will also inform the meeting of the community bank proposal.
