Woden Valley Community Council’s monthly meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday 5 September in the Aegean room upstairs in the Hellenic Club in Woden.
Candidates standing for Brindabella at the October election would like to meet with Woden residents to discuss current Canberra-wide and Woden planning issues, key issues in your suburb and any major issues you would like them to be aware of for the October ACT election. Come and discuss election issues with candidates for the Brindabella electorate.

Patrick Paynter, Principal Engineer/Planner for the Economic Development Directorate of the ACT Government will give an overview of the Mawson Stormwater Project.
The Mawson Stormwater Project involves the construction of stormwater basins and a wetland at the Mawson Playing Fields and the stormwater drain along Athllon Drive. The project is intended to increase safety, to improve the water quality of Yarralumla Creek and add to the natural environment and recreational value of the area.
The Woden Valley Community Council is the peak body representing residents of the Woden Valley to the ACT Government. All Woden residents are welcome at the 5 September meeting and residents are encouraged to raise community concerns.
