Due to the unavailability, of our usual complimentary meeting room at the Hellenic Club, our scheduled 4 August meeting will unfortunately not be possible. We hope in the not too distant future that Woden may get its own community meeting rooms and that many of us in the community sector will not continue to always be dependent on the largesse of benefactors – something that we do very much appreciate when there is no alternative.
Our 1 September meeting which is also our AGM will, we are assured, be possible at the Hellenic Club. This will also be a ‘Meet the Candidates’ evening for the upcoming ACT elections. Maybe the lack of Woden’s community facilities will be a hot topic. Hope many of you are able to come.
